Capacity Building and Training component under DAY NULM aims at establishing timely and high-quality technical assistance at Central, State and City levels to roll out and implement the DAY-NULM programme effectively. The programme emphasizes on transforming the role of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs and State Agencies in charge of urban poverty alleviation into providers of high-quality technical assistance in the fields of urban livelihoods promotion and urban poverty alleviation. Qualified and experienced professionals have been deployed at the national, state and city level to carry forward the mandate for Urban Poverty Reduction.
